Are You Getting the Most Out of Your Network?
Axial Members want to get the most out of their personal networks.  So we at Axial have been working hard to identify ways that we can help them make this happen. This week, we released the first version of what we’re calling “Tags”.
We think Members will use Tags for all kinds of things, but in this post, we are focusing on two specific areas where we think Tags could be a huge help:
1. Building “Smart Buyer Lists” really quickly
2. Preparing for conferences and business development trips
Build “Smart Buyer Lists”
With Tags, you can tag a contact based on EBITDA ranges, industry focus, portfolio company add-on strategy, or even by firm.  It’s completely flexible.  For example, a Tag could be: “Aerospace & Defense Strategics”, or “Government Services PEG”, or “sub 5M EBITDA cash-flow lenders”.
Creating a tag takes a second, and then you can group your network within these tags for efficient and targeted outreach around deals, upcoming trips or business development.
Prepare for Conferences and Trips
Tags also simplifies and maximizes preparation before you hit the road for regional biz dev or specific conferences. Â We were thrilled to see Members already adopting Tags to target individuals they want to meet at the upcoming ACG Intergrowth 2013 conference. Â This lets you focus on outreach and getting your meetings booked, not managing massive excel spreadsheets.
