Axial’s Advisor Finder program exists to help owners identify the most relevant and credible M&A advisors so they can transact successfully.
Over the past 13 years, more than 5,000 M&A advisory firms have used Axial to manage their M&A processes, giving Axial the most authoritative dataset on advisor performance. Advisor Finder utilizes this extensive data to confidentially match business owners with advisors that have proven experience representing similar businesses. New advisors from Axial’s network become eligible for the program based on their platform activity data and relevant experience for a given owner.
In Q1, 63 business owners joined Axial as they began exploring a sale or capital raise. While many of these owners were ready to transact within the next 6 months, some remained in the preparation phase, exploring a sale up to 3 years from now.
46 new M&A advisors joined the Advisor Finder program in Q1. The rapid level of growth in advisors was a direct result of a larger volume of owners reaching the stage in their transaction journey where they were ready to interview M&A advisors.
More than 50 introductions were facilitated between owners and M&A advisors in Q1, with a majority of the businesses (59.65%) falling within the $1M-$3M EBITDA range. Technology and Consumer Goods ranked as the top 2 sectors for introductions, accounting for 61.40% of introductions. See the full breakdown below.
