Evolution Capital Partners, a Cleveland-based private equity firm, has made the first investment from its third fund, Evolution Investments III, in Monolith Software, a Frisco, Texas-based software solutions company focused on assurance and management tools. The investment by Evolution will help to further scale the company by expanding products, sales and marketing and spurring additional investments in the company’s global channel partners. The two firms met through Axial  and leveraged the platform to grow their relationship, and eventually close this deal.
