Axial is excited to release our 2024 Lower Middle Market Investment Banking League Tables.
To assemble this list, we reviewed the deal-making activities of 400+ investment banks and advisory firms that met the qualifications to be considered for league tables last year.
Last year resulted in a record-breaking year for deal volume on Axial, with 10,735 deals coming to market in 2024— a 7.8% increase from 2023 and the highest annual total on record. The increase happened largely in the second half of the year, with both Q3 and Q4 resulting in 26% and 15% higher deal flow than the same periods in 2023, respectively. And while overall pursuit rates dipped below Axial’s typical average (~8%), those deals above $3M in EBITDA maintained above-average rates, over 9.7%.
